The Dremel Tungsten Carbide Cutter 2.4mm (9904) is ideal for shaping, smoothing or removing material from especially hard materials such as hardened and stainless steel, cast iron, hardwoods, nonferrous metals, fired ceramics and especially hard plastics. The accessory is made of tungsten carbide for increased durability. The cylinder shape and curved tip of the Tungsten Carbide Cutter allow for deep removal of material, cutting flat areas, and round edges and making stop cuts and V-cuts. The accessory tip makes flat-bottom slots and grooves, flat side cuts, and makes V-cuts when held at 45 degrees. Do not use this cutter for drilling holes or for enlarging holes that are less than twice the diameter of the cutter.
