The two sides of the Makita Tape Measure are easy to read and well-spaced apart for comfort while using. It comes with a 5 x Duracoat that enhances the durability and protects the finish from damage; this also ensures that the tape stays looking fresh and new, seeing as how it is protected from scratches. The heavy-duty tape measure was designed with a shock-absorbing rubber coating for maximum comfort when using. It also has Hook protection on both sides of the hook to protect it if it is dropped and stops the hook from catching on items when retracted. To provide more durability for the hook, four rivets are provided to absorb the shock when being retracted. The four main rivets do not hold the protector on the backside to ensure the durability of the hooks.
