Alcor is a bitumen coated fully annealed 99% pure aluminium core damp course. The aluminium core is coated with bitumen on both sides and edges to prevent lateral corrosion. It is used as a damp course in brickwork and blockwork and is impervious to moisture, providing a protective barrier against rising dampness. Alcor is not affected by lime and cement.
