Bugle Batten Screws have a coarse tapping thread and a special long sharp fluted point to capture chips in timber. The Batten Screw is used widely in the building trade as it is a heavy-duty screw. It is often used in retaining walls and decking. The countersunk head has nibs that help to remove the timber particles when countersinking and the galvanised coating is suitable for most outdoor applications.
