Spending time outdoors is a big part of the Australian lifestyle, and for 20 years, EnviroSafe has helped Australians enjoy the outdoors without those pesky flies. What are European Wasps?

European Wasps are 12-17mm long with a bright yellow and black body with black triangular markings on the abdomen and often with small black dots on either side. They also have black antennae and yellow legs. They are attracted to the smell of barbecues and sweet drinks, so they become unwelcome guests at picnics, sausage sizzles and any outdoor eating situations. This puts them in close contact with people and creates a risk of dangerous stings.

The EnviroSafe European Wasp Trap and Bait can be a convenient solution to European Wasp foragers that find their way to your outdoor eating area. This Australian-made product has been developed and tested under Australian conditions and is highly attractive to European Wasps foraging for food.

Do you have clothes moths?

Clothes moths are tiny moths that produce larvae which feed on our natural fibre clothes and furnishings. Female clothes moths only live for a few weeks and lay 50 – 100 eggs in that time. The tiny eggs, deposited into any clothing or household furnishings made of natural fibres, usually hatch within one to two weeks when conditions are warm enough. Larvae can survive feeding on clothes, carpets or furnishings for up to three years, depending on temperatures, and in this time, they can do a lot of damage!

Trapping is the simplest method for monitoring clothes moth. The moths are attracted to the trap and become stuck to the internal sticky surface. This provides a degree of control, because the trapped males cannot mate.

Mosquito Drops - How do they work?

For most mosquito species, that starts with egg rafts that are laid on the surface of water pools by female mosquitoes after they have bitten someone and taken in a blood meal.  Once hatched from the eggs, the larvae, or “wrigglers”, move around in the pools, feeding on algae or micro-organisms in the water.

EnviroSafe Mosquito Drops is a silicone-based liquid which self-spreads across the surface of standing water to form a very thin film, preventing mosquito larvae from completing their development and thereby disrupting the mosquito breeding cycle.
